A soft, lamp-lit apartment a few doors from the canal, built around a deep armchair and a low table that has seen a lot of chess. One bedroom plus a sofa bed, so three can stay comfortably. The neighbourhood is at its best in the evening, when the quays fill up and the light goes gold. Quiet hours are respected after ten, which the neighbours appreciate and so will you.
